What is a Transaction Coordinator?

A transaction coordinator (TC for short) oversees all aspect of the real estate transaction from pre-listing to post-closing.
As a real estate sales agent, you'll spend anywhere from 15-19 hours per file doing administrative work. Hiring a TC allows you to spend those hours showing properties, wining listings, negotiating for your buyers, and marketing your expertise.

A TC will manage your paperwork, deadlines, administrative duties, and various other duties to allow you to leverage your business.

Introduction email to client, co-op agent, escrow officer, lender, attorney, and any other necessary parties.

Coordinate EM/OM fees (request wiring instructions), order inspections, open title

Monitor all sensitive/contingency dates

Keep agent's calendar updated + notify clients of important dates

Collect and send all necessary documents to the lenders and attorney offices/title companies

Confirm appraisal ordered and received, TRID disclosures signed

Elizabeth Schlak
Elizabeth (Liz) is joining REfined CTC after working many years as a listing and buyer coordinator for a high volume real estate team. Real Estate is a second career for her following her retirement as a Colonel from the U.S. Army.
Liz teaches photography in her spare time and is a photography leader for 4-H youth ages 8-18 across the state of Texas. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her fiancé and their two Aussiedor dogs. We look forward to Liz bringing her attention to detail and transaction experience to REfined CTC!
Transaction Coordinator & Compliance Manager
Christina Franco
Christina is our Compliance Manager/Administrative Assistant, along with being a Texas and Georgia Transaction Coordinator. She works alongside our lead transaction coordinator and specializes in compliance management, data entry.
Prior to her start in real estate, she thrived in the healthcare industry for 15 years. Whether Christina was working at the nursing home, home health, Midwestern University, or for Yale, there was always one underlying take away- Compassion and Time Management are always of utmost importance.

Christina was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She has a loved for theater and reading; which she hopes to pass down to her three children. Thanks to her husband's active military career, she has been granted the opportunity to see the majority of the United States on different assignments. She has developed a love for the beaches where she currently resides in Florida.
